There are many reasons San Diego is consistently rated one of the top vacation destinations in North America, but probably none are more significant than our optimistic spirit. With 70 miles of breathtaking beaches, friendly locals, and a laid-back vibe, San Diego’s positive outlook is contagious.
Far from being just a beach town, San Diego offers a range of
opportunities that appeal to all ages, interests, and budgets. A host of
major events include PGA tours, Restaurant and Craft Beer Weeks,
Broadway-bound hits, thoroughbred racing, and more. Our vibrant
neighborhoods like uptown’s North Park and downtown’s walkable
Gaslamp Quarter feature lively dining, music, and nightlife scenes.
California’s fascinating history is brought to life in Old Town San Diego’s
shops, restaurants, and historic sites and at Cabrillo National Monument,
where California was first discovered in 1542. San Diego boasts a collection
of world-class attractions, including Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and
San Diego Zoo Safari Park, LEGOLAND California, and the USS Midway
Museum, to name a few. Balboa Park, the nation’s largest urban cultural
park, is home to 16 museums and The Old Globe theatre. Mission Bay
Aquatic Park with 27 miles of sandy beach shorelines beckons water
sports enthusiasts of every kind from kayaking on the bay to surfing the
crashing waves. You can also take a short drive to San Diego’s East County
to enjoy casino gaming and beautiful mountain and desert landscapes.
Whether you are looking for a place to relax, energize, be
entertained, or reconnect with family and friends, San Diego
offers the perfect setting.
We hope you will visit us soon!
