Four years strong, this two-day electronic dance music
party takes over iconic Waterfront Park every spring and
fall. Craft beer, gourmet eats and sunsets over the bay
complement the world’s top DJ talent. Acts like Empire
of the Sun, Rüfüs Du Sol, Flume, Duke Dumont, John
Digweed, Claptone, Hayden James, Flight Facilities, Bob
Moses, and more take the stages of this beautiful bayfront
Launched in 2015, this three-day music, art, food and comedy
fest is a colorful extravaganza at the Del Mar Fairgrounds
each September. Top names like Pink, Jane’s Addiction, Jack
Johnson, Katy Perry, Aerosmith, Dana Carvey, and Sarah
Silverman have all performed on KAABOO’s six stages. Spa
experiences, poolside cabanas, chef demos and graffiti artists

VALLEY VIEW CASINO CENTER
This venue regularly hosts big-name
bands and sporting events. Upcoming
shows include Sam Smith (Oct. 1), Sha-
kira (Oct. 5) and Rüfüs Du Sol (Oct. 31).
Bands play nightly at this hip hidden
hangout in City Heights, known for
its low cover charge, reasonable drink
prices and local talent.
Open since 1989, this Little Italy haunt
has seen the likes of Nirvana, Smashing
Pumpkins and the Lemonheads in its
